Hey guys, how can i get my tool path to start at the top of my slope and machine steps down into the part? what its doing now is starting at the lowest point taking the biggest bite and gouging my part and leaving a nasty burr.

Just change the direction of it in the Passes tab. Set it to 180 and it will go from top>down
