Im trying to 3d adaptive clear only the sides on this part, both with selection and stock conturs but i cant get it to work any way. Someone know what the problom is?

So I ALWAYS leave stock selections blank, it is not the correct way to contain a 3D adaptive toolpath.
In this example you want to sketch a rectangle much larger than your part(to allow the tool to drop down outside the stock) and then select the inner edge of the part as the second boundary.
I have the Tool containment to "Inside boundary"
