3+1 Post Process issue with 2D contour arc output

I am programming this part on a rotary indexer with a fixture, I have the toolpaths correct how I want them for the most part, but when I post process, the code for the 2D contour doesnt make arc moves, it makes line segment moves. it does the same on the adaptive but that is less of a problem.

Assuming this is a quick fix but I havent had much luck

Perhaps something that needs edited in the post processor?

I have tried a few different post processors and the Haas NGC and the Okuma post processors both do the same thing, but if I post a regular 3 axis part with a similar operation, it posts as a regular expected arc move.

I attached pictures because I cannot attach an .F3Z file type and that is my only export option, I assume because this is an assembly.

Is it possible the geometry picked in the 2d contour is not on a plane? if that's the case, project it on a plane first, make sure it's an arc, then select it in the toolpath.

Hi

To upload an .f3z file you need to drag and drop it into the forum post, using browse doesn't work

I finally got a chance to mess with this again today, and that was the problem. For some reason, the model from Solidworks did not come in as an arc in that area, but line segments. Once I figured out how to project them to a plane, the post output was correct.

Thank you.
