2D Pocket Problems

Hi all,

Just come across an issue with tool not staying down while profiling a 2D pocket.  Have used this tool path and set-up many times before with no issue until now.  No matter what I seem to do I can't seem to get the tool to stay down, any thoughts?

F3D file attached.  Many thanks!

Really appreciate the solution, but I'm afraid not, finish tool is a 6mm ball to provide floor surface (0.5mm stepover) and final fillet, and therefore need to finish with the tool up to the wall.  If I change to allow this, i still get the retract movements.

I would suggest using a Horizontal toolpath, followed by a spring pass with 2D Contour:
