2D Pocket edits after running the entire program giving me trouble

For a little over a year I have been running  a Chevalier 1418 VMC-40 and now a New Tormach 770MX and at first I thought it was some sort of glitch between my post to my Anilam controller however since the problem persists with my new 770MX I feel like it may be within Fusion 360. Lets say I have a program setup and I run the entire OP 1 program and need to go back and make a radial or Axial edit to the pocket, I will go into the 2D Pocket section of the program and lets say change the stock to leave in 'radial" from -.002 to -.0021, here is where the problem lies, if I post "just" the 2D Pocket section Ill have the tool either plunge into the part below the target Z level or sometimes hover above the part and not even go to depth but following the correct path of the program or even the tool hovering above the part and have very small movements out of the X Y and Z and not even follow the 2D Pocket path for just a few moments and then the program acts as if it were finished.

Now in most cases I have learned other ways around this like using a 2D contour or making changes using cutter comp but if I need to make an edit to the floor and still want the finish that the 2D pocket gives I am at a loss unless I run another part and scrap the others until I get the tolerance's I'm looking for but depending on material that can get costly. All other edits in this manner work perfectly with exception of the 2D Pocket.

I hope this makes sense and extremely hopeful someone can help.

Thank you!

It seems to me that you might be missing a preparatory g code call. Could you share a sample file? Also, what exact post processors are you using; generic built-in posts from Fusion, or one of your own creation/editing?

Hello @seth.madore sorry for the late reply as I had a surgery and have been away for a few days. What would work best for sending the sample code? I am using a generic post from fusion for both my Anilam and Tormach machines. The most recent code I have is for the Tormach. The issue comes up any time I make an edit to a Pocket section of the entire program and try to run just the pocket section. Even if I try to run it in the entire program it will still have an issue. I can make an edit to any other program like a bore, contour ect with no issue.

Thank you so much for the help and please let me know what the best way to post the code to you would be šŸ™‚
