2D Contour not respecting my lead in?

My safe distance is only .0001" so should be plenty of clearance, no?

- Apple M1 Max rMBP A2485 // Latest MacOS // Latest Fusion
- Usually working off files uploaded to Fusion as: Step, STL, SLDPRT. If it matters ask me.

lead in doesnt work like that, especially if you arent selecting at a point ON the contour that is selected.

The point selected is on the selected contour:

Looks like increasing the safe distance got it to work. Seems like the tooltip for the Safe Distance is described the exact opposite of how it works?
