2D Contour multiple depths & finishing

Hi guys,

What I'm missing now...

I cannot find the way to make following:

Let's say I have 6mm thick material/board to be cut. I want to make it in multiple depths as:

First cut will be 3mm deep and 0,5mm stock to leave.

Second cut will be also 3mm deep ( cut through ) and finishing ( will remove also the 0,5mm stock left from previous cut.

But cannot find the way to make this.

I only get either 1st cut -> 3mm deep, 0,5mm stock to leave + 2nd cut -> 6mm deep and 0,5mm stock to leave and 3rd cut on finishing depth and remove that 0,5mm stock left. But this causes 3rd pass and in this case it's unnecessary.

I also manage to make it 1 roughing pass 3mm deep + 0,5mm stock to leave and then another toolpath in full depth removing also the stock to leave but with two different toolpaths I cannot keep tool down.

I might be missing some simple thing but cannot figure it out...🙄

OK, so, is this what you want ??

1 Roughing Pass at -3.0mm, then a second Roughing Pass at -6.0mm and then a Finishing Pass at -6.0mm

If so then try out the attached file, the bit you missed is to also use "Roughing Pass" stepover as well as the "Multiple Depths",  not going to type out all the settings here so go through it carefully and look at the settings particularly under the "Passes" tab, image below is what I get here 🙂 🙂
