Without seeing a sample problem file all I can see from the error shown is an issue with the "smoothing deviation", is there none in the operations ??? There should be a value.

To Upload a file go to:-

File > Export > Select f3d format > Save to a location on your computer > Then attach to your reply using the "Attachments" facility below your reply box.

Check your Parameters, could have been changed by the update.

Hi Engineguy,

Thanks for responding. The smoothing feature has never been checked for the years I've been using the software. This problem has only happened today with the new update. I attached a dummy file so you can see. The software only seems to have a problem regenerating 2D contours. Thanks again

I see the error in your file - really strange that a parameter would be missing a value.

I just tried your model on my system, with v2.0.11680 - the November major update - works OK.
Then I let Fusion update to v2.0.11894 - still works OK.

What version do you see?  Look at the About dialog from the help menu - ? on the upper right corner.

If it still happens on update check that ironjob file mentioned in the log

C:\Users\brian\AppData\Local\Temp\Fusion360CAM\19976-3\operation3.ironjob and share it with us.

Hi Matt,

I'm currently on version  2.0.11894. What am I looking for in that file you mentioned?

Matt,

Is there a way to revert back to a previous version of the software?

Same as @MattWynn , not been able to replicate your issue here so far also with different Builds of Fusion,  what do you have in the Parameters for the Contour operations ??

You seem to have lost a lot of your Parameters, did you do a "Set to Default" while you were doing a Contour at any time ??

Below are two images showing the Paramaters from your file before I generate the toolpath, I have 216 and you only appear to have 109, first image is mine and shows the "Smoothing Deviation" shown in your error message and the second one is from your Parameters, the "Smoothing Deviation" is not present which is what the error message is saying from what I can see 😞 😞

Just out of interest, here is your file back after I have generated the toolpath, lets see if it now works for you and have a look at the Parameters and check if they have now changed as well 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hey Guys,

So I decided to default all my preference settings and that seemed to clear up the issue. I really don't know what happened but thanks for taking time out of the day to help me out. I appreciate it!
