I make this program but as you see in picture, the path generated is incorrect. This make a full load mill and broke my tool.

It is an 2D adaptive milling and 1mm end mill.

I have the same problem with 2mm end mill in other place of the same machining.

You can see my work at:

I'm using 2.0.10032 version of Fusion.

Can you know what is the problem and/or how can I fix it?

Thanks.

Hi @leonel

I think one issue is that the operation is using rest machining from a previous tool: you set it to rest machine from what a 2.8mm tool with no corner radius would leave. You need to be sure that the stock has been cleared with those settings before you use the toolpath that now unfortunately broke the tool.

But I also notice that the bidirectional machining setting does not give good results in the example. Can your tool cut in both directions, climb and conventional?

Hope this helps.

Hi @leonel

I've had a closer look now and there is some quite unexpected behavior in the area you've highlighted. I will create a report for this. As a work-around you might get a better result not using the  'Both ways' option.

Thank you for reporting this
