2D Adaptive Clearing Even Stepdowns

Can't find the option to use Cut Even Stepdowns when doing 2D adaptive clearing. Did you guys move this option or completely remove it? If you removed it can you please re add it back it ASAP? There a Zero reasons to change this.

It's never been an option actually. We are doing some investigation into adding that functionality, but nothing determined yet, sorry

Really, I could have sworn it was in there. I know it was never in the 3D version of adaptive clearing but I swore it was in the 2D version. I even remember wondering why the 2D version had it but the 3D version didn't... Interesting. Well, it would be a really nice feature to have for both versions!

set your minimum stepdown amount to 1/2 your max stepdown and it will behave how you want it to, or split the program up by Z levels.

set your defaults to

 

1) Multiple Depths on

2) tool_flutelength - tool_cornerradius as your stepdown
