2-sided CAM with non-planar split line

I'm new to CAM so this may be obvious to some of you but I can't figure it out. I have the part shown below that requires 2 set ups. My question isn't really about the 2 setups. I'm just struggling to find the menu item that gets Fusion to calculate toolpaths up to and including the 0 deg draft split line for both roughing and finish passes. The depth tab would seem perfect except it only seems interested in planes and not curves. In the pic, I want to machine up to the red line but not past it. Any ideas?split-line.jpg

You could create a surface or body that represents your split line then just tell the tool path not to touch the surface or face of the splitline. If you can share the model im happy to give it a try and send you it back to you.

thanks for the offer, Matt. Note that there are 2 bodies. The larger one is the stock. My goal was just to be able to machine down to the neutral surface drom both sides. Here's the model https://a360.co/2LVvnOt

As with most things in the CAD/CAM world there is multiple ways to make your part. But if you want to use a non-linear plane you could extrude a surface "splitline" and just use it as your bottom limits.

Hope this works.

Hi @colin7WWH6 , if you share your file it would be easier to help. I attached a part that may reprsent the issue you are working on.  I think the hilighted settings in the geometry tab will get you what you are looking for.

Hi Matt, I accepted your solution but I'm still struggling with the actual (non-simplified) model that I'm trying to machine. I've created a new post here...

if you fancy taking a look. Thanks for your help!
