I would like to be able to have piece of steel and export a table that shows the number of slots, holes, and other features. I send tube out for laser cutting and am charged by the number and size of holes. Right now i have to pay someone to run data entry all day. I can set up complicated excel programs to count parameter names on a parameter I/O export but this is very difficult to set up and would take more time then just doing the data entry. Maybe we could export our named sketches to an excel table? For example i could name a sketch 3" Hole then export that? Or i can make a new component for each hole but then i have to joint them to maintain their relationships to the object they are cutting. There must be an easier way.
