Searching in PLM

it would be super fantastic if when you conduct a Search you could tell the system where to look for exapmle ONLY in the Item Code. it seems like when I search for an Item it will populate other Items that are not what Iam searching. this might help if we had the ability to select where we are searching. see Screen Shot Below.

I can search for Item 166098 which shows up 3rd on the list but there is no Criteria for where the system is looking is it looking anywhere? I should be able to tell the System to only look for Item Code with 166098 not the Description with 166098.

often I want to search for only Description and not Item Code.

Hi Richard,

Yeah, the ability to search (and/or filter) by a certain field is a very good idea - we'll add it to our backlog of features to improve on the search engine. Thanks for the suggestion!
