So while Autodesk sometimes makes great enhancements for the user community, this latest update to the "Seach" function was not one for the user community.
We now have to filter "Working" when doing a general search (SEE SCREEN SHOT PLM SEARCH 1). Which I guess isn't too painful, but when in an existing item record, having to go out to the main search to them perform any additional searches on a "working" item (yet to be released) otherwise, PLM will tell you.... "Pink Screen" - It Does Not Exist. When in fact it does, you know, you just created it.(See Screen Shot 2 & 3).
What I'd like to see, saving time and keystrokes, is to either turn the search back on the way it was, while you are in an existing item view (via spy-glass) to find the Working versions. This is the true "Current" version of an item before it is "released" so why would this not be considered "current". OR provide a 'filter' option as you do from the 'main search' at the top next to the spy-glass. This way it's 'one-stop-shopping' from one window.
It has caused great confusion with my end user community thinking that either something was wrong within PLM.
