Existing condition:
With the global setting on Automatic Revision, the initial revision starts at A.
Proposed:
The initial revision to be a manual character entry then once released goes to automatic. This is needed for anyone that has old drawings needing to be controlled/revised/published thru PLM.
Example: an AutoCAD drawing originated in 1970 has been revised to Rev H. With the existing system I have to process 8 ECOs to get this matching the the drawing.
