Enable Javascript in HTML editing of advance print view

Normal HTML coding allows for Javascript to be enabled during creation.

Currently, APV comment out any scripting attempts in the APV HTML editor.

I'd like to be able to create a normal Script, then call it into the APV using the <script></script> functionality.

Thanks!

Hi @deLeonDavid ,

This is not something we are going to enable. Enabling javascript to run embedded in an APV is a big security risk, and something we are actively sanitizing when the APV is saved (as you noted).

Thanks for the feedback,

Hi Giliar,

I understand that risk.

Using getPrintView in the scripting side, I should be able to pull in the print view HTML information from the APV, alter it as needed, and re issue it to the view.

Any roadblocks you can think of that would prevent me from doing this?

@deLeonDavid ,

That should be fine.
