Update: I found the solution in another post.
Hello,
I might not fully understand the correct workflow of change orders in Fusion 360 manage, and would appreciate an explanation of the use of the work state.
An example I struggle with:
I have a component I need to change a dimension for. I create a change order and in my head it would be logical to submit the part to work and then change whatever I need to with my design. Once the design is updated, I save the version, then review, and approve. I would then expect that the latest saved version in the design workspace is my approved revision. However, the approved version (white flag with gray background) is still the old saved version (when the CO was created) without my new dimensions I added after submitting to work.
How can I update a component design while correctly following the change order workflow? Otherwise what is the point of submitting to work, if whatever I do afterwards is not included in the approval stage?
Thank you,
Alexander Storm
