Rest API Attachments in new interface.

Hi

I am uploading attachments using rest API v1, In classic interface they are under Attachments Tab.

But in new Interface nothing under attachments tab.

Do we need extra steps to make attachments visible in new interface.

Thanks

Hi mnav,

One of the major enhancements in the Modern UI is a completely new Cloud PDM solution. This solution brings along huge benefits in terms of managing your files and the relationship between files (assemblies for example) and including desktop connectivity for direct integration with CAD systems. However, it also means that there is no backward compatibility between Classic and Modern with respect to data management.

We are working on data migration tools that will allow customers to move from the Classic UI to the Modern UI without losing any data. However, any programmatic access to files will have to be completely redone.

Sincerely,

Greetings,
Programmatic access to modern ui attachments tab is not yet available. We are planning to release the api for that shortly, first under a Release Candidate Preview umbrella, then as fully fledged backwards compatible supported api stack as we asssess the endpoints and the payloads. More news on this to come in a couple of weeks from now; I'll update the thread with news you can use.
