The file search is very unreliable. Very frustrating when I want to find a file.  Please fix it.  I see this was last reported in 2019

By default Fusion only searches in the current folder. To change it click on the grey box and choose 'All Data' or some other folder.

Thanks Bill. I usually search from AllData - As you can see from the photos I am demonstrating that the file exists and should show up in the search.

HI Rosie,  I posted an additional image to demonstrate that it cannot find files, even when searching from All Data

Hi @simon.dyer - can you check the search behavior now please?  Are expected files being returned when you search for them?

Hi Andy,

Problem is fixed.  I'm assuming all files can be found now. Is there something we users can do in future if the problem repeats?

I'm seeing this as well. Searching for "Quarq" in All Data returns two items:

Choosing "Show in location" brings me to the folder which shows the thing I was actually looking for - second item - which should have been a match as well:

I've seen the same a couple other times recently but did not note the exact occurrences. Have seen exact matches not show up, and have seen partial matches not show up.

The only fix I've seen mentioned here appears to be messaging @Andy.Spivey - is that still what I'll need to do?

No problem - I just noticed I had a different account logged in - got the message though.  I'll loop back once things are addressed.
