Good morning/afternoon fellow peers,
I was wondering if anyone knows if it´s possible to fully integrate a design to parametric and configuration controls?
I´m a Jr. Design Eng., for the most part I´ve used NX and Solidworks, but the company that I currently work for uses Fusion. Since I work with Big assemblies (composed of sub-assemblies and parts, sometimes over 50 parts and such), I try to use parameters and configurations to be able to make modifications swiftly and for everything to update accordingly without breaking.
The thing is, I can only control the parameters locally to each component /file. I was wondering if there is as way to have a central file with all the parameters and functions and to link them/make a call back to each part as require, so that if you change something on the central file, every part, subassembly, and assembly updates (obviously if the change was related to it), and if it can be done, what are the steps to do it??
