I don't understand the need for this error to even exist.

Can someone explain what this means, how it works and why it is required when saving is literally a feature that every CAD program has had since the dawn of time with no such issues?

Saving should be as easy as clicking the save button or Ctrl+S and it should do it instantly, not wait for something. Deal with it when you're back online, but saving locally should absolutely take precedence over any useless cloud stuff that's going on.

Hi @CarlConquilla , Design Reservation means that only one person can make edits to a design at a time. The first person to start editing a design automatically reserves the design. This is useful in hubs with more than one person to ensure two people aren't creating conflicting designs at the same time. This can be toggled on or off in the hub settings. You can find more info here.

Your screenshot looks like something failed when reserving the design and is letting you know that you didn't have the design reserved when you were editing it. Does this happen every time you edit something? Is anyone else in your hub?
