Currently, when working online in Fusion, every modification appears to trigger an immediate cloud update and synchronization. This process can take a significant amount of time and frequently interrupts the workflow.
In offline mode, the same modifications are applied almost instantly because the files are updated locally. All changes are then synchronized with the cloud once the application returns online.
It would be extremely beneficial to introduce a local-first workflow also when Fusion is online. Changes should be saved and processed immediately on the local machine, while cloud synchronization runs asynchronously in the background.
This would provide the responsiveness of offline mode without losing the benefits of cloud storage, versioning and collaboration.
Decoupling local file updates from cloud synchronization would greatly reduce interruptions and dramatically improve productivity, especially when working on complex projects, large assemblies or slower internet connections.
