Turn off dynamic error checking

I created a new footprint for a part, changing from TSSOP to QFN. I replaced the footprint in the design and now I am unable to move the part. Dynamic error checking is preventing it from moving. How can I turn this off?

I kind of figured out the problem. I needed to unroute any connections to the part. Then I could move it. It would still be nice to know a way of turning off this dynamic checking.

Hi @infinitemach ,

Sorry for any confusion.

By default, PCB is using Push Violators mode, but you could switch to Ignore Violators mode in the navigation bar.

Could you please have a try?

Hope it helps.

Best regards,

Thank you for that information. I was looking for such a setting under the application preferences.
