Trouble with making PCB on Fusion360

Trouble with making PCB on Fusion360

Hi everyone !

I would like to create a PCB from a 3D design I made on Fusion to export it on Eagle and place component on it. I followed all the tutorials to do that but right after I clicked on Create PCB in the create menu, I don't have the same things as in the tutorials... and I can't export anything to Eagle. Here is a screenshot of the thing I have right after clicking on Create PCB.

Did anyone have the same issue ?

Thanks a lot !

Pretty sure they want you to do it all within Fusion 360 now rather than export to Eagle. See the pinned post https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-electronics/how-to-work-with-3d-pcb/td-p/9278497

It seems to me to be basically the same as exporting to Eagle, defining schematics, placing components but you do everything within Fusion360.

Thanks a lot for the answer !

But I already have all the schematics on Eagle and I'd like to do everything on it, any idea ?

Hi,

From reading another post a few days back I recall that it was said that currently you can't create a new 3D PCB in Fusion Electronics and push that back into EAGLE desktop to create a new design that way (that functionality, present in the previous version, was disabled with this initial release of FE). It is planned to make that facility available again in an upcoming release, but for now you can generate the board from within EAGLE desktop and then push that to FE to create the 3D PCB that way.
