Top layer moves to the front

If I have any layer active and change the active layer. The top layer moves to the front.

example:

1) Bottom active (see below)

2) Change to bPlace, bPlace is the active layer with Top layer behind it.

I think the bottom layer should stay and the bPlace should overlay the bottom layer.

Am I wrong?

Hi, @chuck_toddN7PTC You can use the "Single Layer View" to see the individual layers highlighted.

Hi @chuck_toddN7PTC!

Just to add some extra information to what Frijo is saying, the way it works today is that the layers are always shown in the order in which they appear in the layers panel. The "active" layer is moved to the top while it is active. It does seem that for "bottom" layers, it might be more useful to have the bottom copper appear at the top temporarily too.

I will bring this up with the team.

Layers associated with the bottom layer (bPlace, bValues, bCream, etc) should be viewed with the bottom layer as the next layer shown.

The Top layer doesn't have this issue because Fusion already puts the Top layer underneath by default after selecting a new active layer.
