Text on copper

Hi,

i'm trying to place a copper text on my pcb. 

Does anybody know which layer i have to place the text on?

thank you for your participation in our forum.

 

As I understand you would like to have some text written in the copper layers, right? So you need to place the text in layer 1, Top or layer 16 Bottom. Depends on where the text should appear. 

 

Or do you plan to have some text visible as copper, for example on a ground plane? If yes, you would write the text in layer tStop or bStop. Now the solder stop mask is open (not covered with laquer) and copper is exposed.

I wanted the text to be visible as copper, as you mentioned in the second part.

I followed your instructions and got what i planned to get.
