Text negative

Hi,

Is there any way to create negative of text? DXF import is out since text is variable.

Hello @silvio3105 ,

I'm not sure if this is the right solution to your problem:

  • add text to layer 41 (tRestrict) or 42 (bRestrict) and use "vector" font:

  • do a "ratsnest"

Hello @silvio3105 ,

then you have just do that in the corresponding layer.

Are you really sure to to that in silkscreen (Layer 21/22, tPlace/bPlace)?

Or do you want it in layer 29/30 (tStop/bStop)? So there is no solder stop where the text is.

Hi all,

have you found a solution for negative text on SilkScreen layer? E.g. like in Arduino board?

It can be done with a ULP, not that easy.

For a tutorial: https://atadiat.com/en/e-negative-silkscreen-eagle-ulp/

Note that you use the ULP for fusion.

Just tested it myself and it works.

Thanks. Is it a set of lines, as I can see? Is there another option to have a polygon on the silkscreen layer? I mean, the lines can't be scaled after creation.
