Synchronizer on the Schematics with modules

Hi,

I had created a Schematic file with modules to implement hierarchical design, unfortunately the Synchronization has been lost between my schematic and board so now I am stuck with fixing this issue.

I happen to know there is Synchronizer feature in the Schematic but I cannot run the Synchronizer, the Run button was disabled .

Is there any limitation like we cannot use Synchronizer for Schematics if it has modules?

Kindly give me a solution for this issue

Best Regards,

Deepak Elango

Hello @deepak_elango,

I hope you're doing well. The synchronizer doesn't work on schematics with hierarchy it will actually make the inconsistencies worse, that's why it's disabled. Remember that it is vital to keep the schematic and board open together at all times so that changes can track.

In your current situation, you have to fix the inconsistency manually. Run the ERC and then correct the consistency errors. If you don't see any there, then I'm going to ask you what is the inconsistency you are perceiving specifically.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
