SMD Stencil

I can make my own SMD stencils, is there a way to export the .gbr files to a DXF?

Or I see there is a Stencil Layer, is there a way to export that layer as a DXF?

Thanks

Hello @BeeAmaker,

I hope you're doing well. You can export it to DXF. If you look in the CAM processor there is a section for DXF

See the bottom of the plus menu.

Let mknow if theres anything else I can do for you.

Thats for the help, but that doesn't seem to work unless I am doing something wrong. All that does is give me a DXF outline of the entire board, not just the stencil layer.

Hello @BeeAmaker,

I hope you're doing well. That DXF is supposed to allow you to select the specific layers you want to see. I'll have to make a bug report about this.

In the meantime there is another way to get DXF output. First, make sure only the Stencil layer you are interested in exporting is visible. Go to AUTOMATE > Run ULP and run the DXF ulp.

Let me know if this gives you the desired result.
