Select and move command bug

So, I've selected lines and pressed M key on keyboard.

Flip and rotate does not work. I click on flip or rotate icon, nothing happens.

Controls are really weird. I'll try to record all problems I have in next few days.

Hi, @silvio3105

Would you please try to switch violators mode from the navigation bar located at the bottom of the canvas? By default push violators mode is applied, the might be the reason that you feel move/rotate commands are not applied,

Thanks,

Hi,

It's in library, while editing symbol.

Eg.

One click on line, press M key on keyboard, clicking on mirror or rotate options does not do anything.

Unless you have reconfigured the shortcuts, you need to use F7 to start MOVE, not M.
And you can't rotate until you have started a move on your object.
And, you can't mirror a line.

F7 does not work for me. I'm on Windows 10.
So, when I drag the line, move dialog shows up, but after I release the line that dialog closes.
To rotate the line I have to first drag the line and then press right mouse click.
Same dialog pops up when I press M key on keyboard.
Logic makes no sense.

Also, why I cannot mirror/flip the line? F360E misses that feature or what?

But, to resize the line I have to first open move dialog(M key) and then resize it by draging it's edge.

Without first pressing M key it will just drag it(move it) around.

Very odd.
I would have thought it was the same shortcut on Mac and Windows.
F7 was the move shortcut for good old EAGLE, in all versions.
It makes no sense to mirror a horizontal or vertical line.
You MIGHT want to mirror one that is as an angle though. But, it does not work, it seems. Lines apparently cannot be mirrored. Groups can.

The resize method is how it always have been since the old EAGLE days.

And, the way the MOVE dialog appear is also normal. The MOVE will be active, for as long as you hold the mouse button down. And you can then also rotate with right click.
For other, more complex MOVE options, you need to select MOVE first (with F7, or in your case, M).

Okey, then move dialog(M key) makes no sense since I can rotate with right mouse click.
That resize logic is odd. Now only reason why move cmd exists is to resize line.

Yes, mirroring one line makes no sence here but it should work. I don't care is it one line or multiple ones, it should mirror over X or Y axis.

It might make no sense to you, but it does make sense to us that have been using EAGLE since the 90's.
The move command is there for a lot more reasons, especially with group moves, syncing to grid e.t.c.
It sounds to me as you're new to Fusion, you will realize there is a lot more to it that you see by a quick glimpse.

And, you can just tell yourself that mirroring a horizontal or vertical line DOES in fact work, as you will not be able to tell anyway.
