Schematic page cross reference

Hi,

How are the net name cross page references completed including the X/Y location from the frame? The cross reference to the page is correct but the X/Y location on that page is '??'. I am trying to determine how to get the correct page location not '??'.

Thanks for the help.

Hi @wayneweeks,

I hope you're doing well. The trick is to make sure that every sheet has a frame, the frame is what gives reference to the cross page references. You can draw it in manually using the FRAME command or grab pre-existing frames from the frames library.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for the quick response. I have four sheets that all have a frame. The sheets are (auto) numbered 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. In the cross reference the page number is correct, it is the X/Y locations that shows as '??' for all four sheets, for example 'net_name/2.??'.

Thanks,

Hi @wayneweeks,

Is this a custom frame? I'm assuming all of your design is within the boundaries of the various frames?

If it's a custom frame it maybe that you drew with just lines and not the actual frame command which is what gives the coordinates that replace the ??.

If none of this applies then would you be willing to share a simplified schematic so that I can investigate what's going on?

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
