Hi,
I have read post's where people have successfully imported component libraries and schematics from LTSpice into Eagle (now Fusion). It seems as though in earlier releases, there was an LTSpice.ulp. This no longer seems to be available. I can find little to no information online on how importing should be done.
I am working for a client who has already produced all of their schematics in LTSpice. They also have extensive libraries they have spent time creating and do not wish to change their method.
So far, the only way I can create a PCB layout of their designs is to literally copy the schematic, which of course is extremely time consuming and potentially open to error (being that all of the parts need to be created/downloaded). Surely, there is a mechanism to import this data so that I can expand on the libraries by creating devices/footprint/3d models.
Does the LTSpice.ulp no longer exist? Is there another method? If there is no way of doing this, can you please advise what (schematic) formats can be imported and what ULP's are available to process them. (do not include the ultiboard ulp in your response please).
Please do not point me in the direction of how to create new schematics/ parts etc. I know how to do all of this.
Please advise.
Thanks
Antony
