Renaming pins without cloning library

Is there no other way to rename pins within a header, without cloning the whole library with everything in it? I was doing a project where each header had different labeled numbers for pinouts, and thus had to make 4 of the same component with different pin numbers. A support person told me this was the way, but it is just a massive time waste. Thank you,

Hello @anthony_apostolides,

I hope you're doing well. I would argue that you don't have to rename the pins. The default pin headers just follow a numeric sequence so you can focus on naming the signals that connect to the header. On the board you can add text to indicate what connects to what.

If renumbering the headers is the only way, then making the 4 copies is the way forward.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
