Problem with editing library

Hello,

I'm trying to use Fusion in place of Eagle. I can create new library including 3D packages etc. But I have no idea how to edit my old libraries published to managed folder years ago? When I try to edit component, warning appears informing that library must be duplicated. I don't want to duplicate my own library. How to solve this?

You can't edit library.io libraries directly in Fusion. You will need to copy the library into Fusion team (by hitting "yes" in the dialog) and make edits to that one. Then we recommend updating your designs to use the new Fusion Team libraries instead (using the Swap Library feature), or alternatively from the Fusion team library editor you can "push" changes back to the library.io counterparts and that will keep the two in sync.

The way that this system works is being fixed right now, we recognize the issues. It would be better to just be one library that you can use, edit, and sync with library.io- rather than being shown as two different libraries. These libraries should ideally just migrate into Fusion Team for you, and you shouldn't have to worry about whether your designs are using Fusion or Library.io counterparts. This is an ongoing project. We appreciate your patience as we work out the kinks.

Thank you,
Chris

Thank you for explanation. Now I understand "philosophy" of libraries.

If you are working currently on this section, I would advise to improve user interface. For now, on 32" 4k monitor previewing content of library is a nightmare. Sometimes (as on the attached picture), thumbnails are extremely small and almost invisible. even if UI scaling is set to 150% (other parts of UI becomes large in this case). Of course, I can switch to single component preview, but this is workaround - not solution.

Descriptions are difficult to read. User should decide how big is preview section and how many items should be shown.

Moreover - loading previews is slow when we want to quickly find component. Next group of (3...) components should be preloaded before next/previous is clicked. Apart from clicking next/previous  please add mouse wheel scrolling. When picture is clicked I would like to see it enlarged to allow to see details.
