Polygon / Plane clearance around oblong pads

I have oblong pads created for custom parts; but the polygon plane does not seem to keep away from the pad.

Question:  When creating a pad stack in ECAD (Eagle) do the inner layer pads have the same shape as the top / bottom pads?

Will there be a short between the pads shown and my plane layer?

Hi @scott.nortman

the default pad shape in inner layers is always round!  What you see in the 2D PCB view is correct. The Pads layer shows the pad with its oblong shape in Top and Bottom, but in the inner layers it is round. That's the reason why to polygon in the inner layer is displayed "round".
