Please help: Airwires breaking and reforming when component/part moved

Whenever I move a component, the airwires linked to it break and reform with other components. All of my connections are messed up by this. Fusion doesn't say anything about the schematic and layout becoming unsynchronized (thus, ERC is not available). No forum responses have addressed it. How should I proceed? Spent about a week on this to no avail.

Here is a Screencast of it:

Hi @s28039089,

I hope you're doing well. This is actually normal behavior, what happens here is that the airwires are always recalculating for the shortest length possible so when you move the IC some of the airwires (usually the power nets) will jump around to nearer gnd and power points.

If you run the ERC it will tell you that everything is consistent because none have been destroyed they just simply relocate to a nearer net member.

Let me know if that makes sense.

Hello Jorge,

Thank you for your response. Still a little confused. At 46:23 in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh03X5Wh5MM), the airwires do not reroute. Which setting is used to accomplish that?

Thank you so much.

Hi @s28039089 ,

I hope you're doing well. The airwires will only move if the there's a shorter path available. In the example shown in the video, shorter paths didn't become available. So in other words, the airwires will switch only if a shorter path becomes available.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
