Hi @sergeQJMQW ,

I hope you're doing well. With the new DRC system, the old Netclass system isn't the only scope anymore. So it has been assimilated into the Rules editor, it's just another scope. See this video for more info on how the custom rules are setup using netclasses, start watching from the 6min-ish mark if you are in a rush. I recommend watching the whole series if you have the time, since it will help you get a full grasp of just how powerful the new DRC system is.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Class name in DRC is not matching the Net Classes Menu:

In DRC Name - "Copper Clearance 0.25", Net Classes Menu - "10-mils" for the same Net Class.

Very confuzing.

Hi @sergeQJMQW ,

Click into the rule and you'll see what netclass it's scoped to. The names are generic and you can name them whatever you want. You can also scope deeper than just the netclass so it was determined to by default have a basic name the user can update it to be as detailed as they want.

I can put in a request that if a design is imported the rules derived from netclasses should include the netclass name. Do you think that would make things easier for you?
