Need help testing QR code generation ULP

Hi all!

Importing images and logos in Fusion electronics can be quite tedious!

Importing DXF ability helps a lot but doesn’t works for QR Codes.

I decided tu tackle the project of making a ULP that would automate the creation of QR codes.

From the looks of it, I seam to have succeeded! For me anyway, on my machine, making a QR code in Fusion electronics is a breeze!

At this point, I would love to have testers. If you could try it and let me know your thoughts.

I couldn’t find a way to make a version that would work on both the Mac and the Windows machines. So I made a ULP for each.

The Windows version hasn’t been tested yet.

here is the address to the Github repository: https://github.com/blaisebarrette/QRCode-ULP-for-Fusion-electronics

Please take notes of any error messages or odd behavior.

Also, if you have any suggestions for future development don’t hesitate!

thank you!

Thank you @Evert_2N3055 !

Very happy to hear that the windows version is working!
I made major changes to the ULP.
I simplified the interface, aded support for version control, multi language support and error handling!

Please download the latest version before you test again!

Thanks again!

@Musti75 ,

I installed a Windows computer to test. I fixed two bugs. It now works on my Windows machine.
Make sure you download the latest V1.0.4

If you get a chance, please let me know if it works!

I pretty much spent an all nighter on this one! There is now a single ULP for both Mac and Windows. On Windows, the ULP now use VBScript instead of powershell which gets rids of the flashing DOS Windows. Way sexier!

It works here for me. Tested it on both a Mac and a Windows computer.

hopefully, it will work for you as well.

@blaisebarrette
I've had a run on the newest version and it seems to go 95% of the way.
I've managed to get a QR-Code unfortunately it is some how of a bigger size.

No matter which size settings you use it will come out the same big size.
I hope this helps you find the missing peace to make it work all the way.
And  while you are up to some changes I would like to ask you for the change of being able to input sizes also in metric format.

I appreciate your work!

@Musti75  I just released v1.1.2 with a new unit menu supporting mil, mm and inch.

I also fixed an issue when adding QR codes when grid is set in mm.

hope it works for you. Let me know how it goes!
