Missing 3D Models for Components

I've been trying to push a schematic and board layout to the 3D PCB feature. However, I am using a screw terminal in the con-phoenix-508 library and it seems the 3D model for the package is missing. It is not just this one specific model, all the models of this library are missing along with some other libraries. Any ideas?

Such poor software..

Same problem here, the component DR74 have for sure 3D package, what we can see in the picture 2, this window pops after opening component in 2D editor. Thus for sure this is the right particular component and library.

When  pushing 2D pcb to 3D I am getting : missing 3D... as in the picture 1.

3D package was created as  extruded plane 4mm up, as a new body. Library was saved as a copy from library.io and re-edited.

Such problems "Missing 3D... " are even with old circuits where 3D boards when created fine. In this case I just copied part of the schematic from old design.

Hi @christopher2KLSVU

I hope you are dong well!
So sorry to hear that you meet this issue.

I can't see the library name clearly from your screenshot.

Would you mind listing the library name for the missing model component?

I will check for you.

And if you make this library by yourself, please invite me (panpan.fan@autodesk.com) into your project to have a look.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @christopher2KLSVU

By the way, please attach the screenshot of your 3d PCB.

Does it show as default box or the package you made by your self?

There were 2 problems; the first- the SMD diodes were few times to big, and second problem was with DR74 inductor which was taken from old design. In this old design this inductor had already 3D model. In some steps of solving the problem I have again created DR74 3D package, saved as my local copy of the library but, it did not help.

The 3D screenshot was linked to the similar topic which I found as a first, but I see it disappeared. I will attach it again. After several 3D view regeneration, changing board dimension problem has gone.

What I have observed is that the problem (with to big diodes from screenshot)was despite that by step pushing 2D to 3D I have deselected problematic components, I mean those they have had "Missing 3D ..." marking. Another problem with DR74 inductor from inductor library,  as a quick solution I have solved by adding custom 3D model. But this is temporary solution, I understand for particular design.

----

these oversized components are back again.

Hi @christopher2KLSVU ,

So sorry for any trouble!

We have identified the reproducible steps about 3D PCB design mess up issue and the key point is the OS region is French, Dutch, Norway or others which might have format differences.
HelenChenElectronicsQA_0-1681897104012.png

Before this issue is fixed, the workaround is:
  1. Change the OS region to English instead from French, Dutch
  2. Break link for the problematic 3D PCB
  3. Push to 3D PCB again
Please kindly try the workaround before this issue is fixed.
We will keep you be posted once we have a fix about this issue. So sorry for any inconvenience.

Hope you have a great day!
