Loss of layer info after part re-number

Having completed a design I used the Automation script to re-number the parts.   This completed OK but afterwards when the layout re-drew I had lost some of the layer info (no pads, no holes etc).   When I tried to add a new part to the design the part could not be 'grabbed' to be moved into place on the board as no airwires were present.   I had to go through the drop down list of layers and click (blindly) on the ones I thought needed re-enabling to get things back to normal.

Hi @pezula.alan ,

I hope you're doing well. So it looks like some of the layers got turned off, what renumber script did you run?

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi Jorge and thanks for the response on this.

I used cmd-renumber in the ULP directory.

The immediate result was a black board layout with just the component outlines and references.

I then had to go down the layers list clicking on each in turn until I got a 'normal' view of the board, tracks etc.

Even if you run just as Preview it does the same.

Hi @pezula.alan,

I can confirm this behavior, it seems to be part of that ULP for a long time since even in EAGLE it does the same thing. I'll report this for future improvements to the ULP.

In the meantime, after running the ULP you can go to the layer command and use the Preset_Standard preset to get back the layer visibility quickly.
