The NAME and VALUE does not update both on the Schematic and the PCB views.

After creating a new library device in the electronic library I added the part to my PCB. I then went back to the library and edited the device. I modified the device Footprint including the location of the NAME and VALUE then saved it. I then went back to the PCB and updated the device. All modification to the device would update, but the modification to the NAME and VALUE did not (the locations stayed the same).

I then went back and edited the device Symbols by moving their location then updated the device on the PCB, same thing, the NAME and VALUE did not update on the Schematic view.  I then added the new device again and all modification that I made are correct on the new device.

Hi @steelgoosemetalart ,

I hope you're doing well. Parts that have already been placed will not automatically relocate the name and value locations. If after the update you want the those texts to reflect whats in the library, use the Reposition attributes command and make sure it's set to Restore Default.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
