Layout editor - Layer Sets Manager doesn't hold changes I need clarification, please.

I have made layer additions to the Preset_Bottom and Preset_Top layer sets. The changes only exist for that particular Fusion 260 session. If I close Fusion 360 and re-open it the changes I made to those layer sets are gone.

Also I can't permanently delete the Preset_Bottom and Preset_Top layer sets.

However, I can add and change my own layer sets, and those changes are permanent.

FYI, if it is supposed to work this why, why are the Preset_ layer sets in the Custom Layer Sets? They should be in the Read-only Layer Sets. If I have to make my own Top and Bottom layer sets then the Custom Layer Sets category is going to get cluttered with layer sets I don't use and can't delete.

Can you please clarify how the Custom Layer Sets work in terms of which layer sets will take permanent changes?

And it looks like layers 23-tOrigins and 24-bOrigins have been permanently deleted but the documentation still refers to these layers.

Is there a major overhaul of the documentation scheduled?

Hello @anthonyEX9NB,

I hope you're doing well. I'll pass your suggestions over to the development team. The documentation is constantly being updated. The new selection mechanism removes the need for the Origin layers. Now you can effectively do the same thing by disabling components in the selection filter.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
