Layer stack modeling Stiffeners and Cutouts

Hey sorry for the basic newbie question. I cant seem to find a way to specify layer layouts, like adding and removing material from the layer stack? I know this is probably super basic . How can a we specify sections of the pcb where a layer will and will not  exist? @jorge_garcia here are a couple simple references. I know it must have the capability, I just cant seem to find information on it. I think the issue is it must be in a video that you've done, but cant seem to find it. I know that there is a display layer section, but will that affect the gerber files to actually show thickness and cutouts on the model for the manufacturing facilities?

Fig2. Example for bikini Overlay/ overlay cutout. Excuse me if this is an obvious miss, It surely is covered as dome keys and flex pcbs have been doing this for ages.

Hi @wes55ETD,

The layers stack manager is where you can define the various layer compositions. With that said there is no mechanism built-in to support rigid-flex features. You'll have to workaround that by using additional user created layers. It's always recommended to have good conversations with your manufacturer to find out the best way to supply design data to them.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Great, yes I just defined new layers and processed those instead on my cam output.

Thanks!
