Importing 2G geometry onto a PCB

Lately, I've been doing more RF design. For that, we use an external software package to simulate the geometry.
Now I want to create a PCB form the geometry. Is there a proper way to import DXF into Fusion Electronics?

The DXF ULP does not manage to import all the geometry, and frankly, there should be a better way.
I cannot find any way of importing 2D geometry from other CAD programs. Neither can I import the DXF it into a separate EDA tool and import those files to Fusion.

Does anyone have a workaround for DXF import?

I found a tedious workaround.
1) Export DXF from COMSOL
2) Open in Inkscape, create polygons from the lines. Save as PNG.
3) Open PNG in Paint, save as monochrome bmp.
4) In fusion Electonics, run the following command "run import-bmp.ulp"

All this conversion of course leads to some loss of accuracy and takes quite a while.

Please include a DXF importer (maybe even an SVG importer :D).
It would also be nice if it was possible to convert the rectangles to polygons.

Hi @erik.buerV95QJ,

I hope you're doing well. Thank you for the suggestions this is something we are working on.

@ Autodesk,

it should be an easier way to proper import a DXF onto choosen layers. As I tried to import a DXF all the tracks were imported as lines with minimal width and I mean, the pads of rotated components were placed in wrong way. The support wasn't able to solve this issue.
