I'm not able to cross probe

Its looks like super simple. But I'm not able to cross probe

Try click to select, show button, filter, select in the table, nothing to do. I'm not able select a part in the schematic and get it selected in the PCB.

Any one can help me ?

Hi again every one.

Am I the only one who want to use cross probing function with Fusion 360 ?

Thanks

Alex

Hi @alexandre.palardy ,

I hope you're doing well. There is a way to do this, here's the workflow:

1. Form the group in schematic

2. In the Automate menu > Select  Run ULP > in the dialog that pops up run the select-sch-group-to-brd-group.ulp

Done.

It could definitely be better, but this should help for now.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thank very much

As you said "It could definitely be better"

Is it possible to have a button or a short cut linked to an UPL ? It is very long to open UPL and select every time.. ?

Hi @alexandre.palardy ,

In Fusion 360 it's not possible to custom assign shortcuts, but if you press the S key on your keyboard you'll bring up the shortcuts menu. You can add the Run ULP command there. It's not much of a speed up but it's a little better. We are working on this, since we know it's really needed.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Either two years have passed since "It could definitely be better, but this should help for now." and there still is no cross-probing

OR

there is no intuitive way to do it.

Do we still have to run that UPL script? To be honest, it worked better than I expected, but I still have a problem with accepting UPL scripts as a solution.

Hi @lars.jepkens ,

I hope you're doing well. What's improved now is that you can assign a shortcut to run the ULP to make it smoother.

The ULP is still the solution for now.

I'll bump this again.
