How to show name of component after turned off?

Hi!

Please see attached screenshots.

The name "R36" has been turned off and is invisible. Now I need to turn it on again - how could this be done when the actual label for the name is not shown (nor clickable) for its properties?

Did you turn it off or delete the text object on the board editor?

I just turned it off

Try going to change>display>name and select component. Maybe that will get the designator turned back on?

Hi @larsVMB3B,

I hope you're doing well. Use the Autoposition attributes command and set it to restore default then click on the component. This will bring back the name and value texts.

Sorry to open up this thread again, but after the latest software update I just can't find the Autoposition Attributes command. Previously I beleive it was under: Document > Draw > Autoposition Attributes.

But where is it located now?

Now the Reposition Attribute command is in the ATTRIBUTES list.
