Hi,
New user here. Sorry if this belongs in another category, but it seemed like the best place to start.
I have a PCB design I've created - a small, simple board with a handful of parts and a couple connectors. I want to put this bare PCB into what I've only ever heard called an 'array' or a 'matrix' - a larger, single board that many smaller boards are cut from. But the terms 'array' and 'matrix' seem to mean something else in the F360 world, as my searches yield very little in the way of useful information for this situation.
I've found that if I lay the schematic out X number of times, when I go into the 2D PCB editor, I can arrange everything more or less how I want to, but having to move 6x or 8x worth of parts around is a non-starter. Plus, getting it all to line up with the dimensions of an 8x10" sheet of double-sided copper-clad (what I'm going to mill them from) is pretty tough.
Is this step (arranging to a PCB 'array') done in the Manufacturing environment? The 2D editor? The 3D editor? Should I have started with my 8x10 copper-clad when I initially laid out the dimensions of the board?
