How to move components on PCB to grid positions?

Hi,
When moving components on the (2D) PCB, they move with grid increments. But they do not move to the grid positions.

If the x position is for instance 4.63 mm and the grid is 0.5 mm, I can move it to 4.13 mm or 5.13 mm. But I want to move it to 4.5 mm. How to do that?
I asked this before and if I remember correctly I had to hold the CTRL key when moving. But that does not work and I can not find the question/answer anymore on the forum. Seens to be removed?

Found the old thread! It was about moving parts of a footprint. But with the same problem.
The trick was to first select the move command, then select the part to move and move it with the CTRL key pressed.
