How to mass delete traces, vias and polygons?

Hi there,

I am reworking an old Eagle PCB design for a new product. I've imported the schematic and board into Fusion 360 and am now trying to delete all the unwanted vias, traces and polygons. There are lots of them at various parts of the board, but also some in other locations that I want to keep. Basically I need to be able to click and drag to select a bunch of objects, then press del on my keyboard to remove them. It seems that this isn't possible??????? How do you delete things without having to do it one-by-one?

As an aside, is there a published plan from Autodesk in regards to how the Electronic design interface will change over the next few years? Are they planning to keep the antiquated Eagle-style modal commands or will they change the UX to more closely match modern user expectations?

I hope you are doing well! I see your problem about deleting traces,vias,polygons.

You can try the following steps:

1.In Design Manager -> Switch to Filter Tab -> Choose ObjectType = Via (Or any other types you want)

2. Re-select the parts in Result (Select All or select any parts you want) -> In Inspector Dialog, click delete icon in Quick Action

As mentioned before, it helped me but I improved on it:

- Go to Selection filter (if you dont see it, "View" Tab and check box at the very bottom "Selection Filter")

- In the Types part, select Via only.

- Click on sheet and Press Ctrl + A to select all vias, or select them with mouse drag for specific area

- Press Delete Key (Del) on your keyboard.

Dont forget to reset your selection filter at the bottom to continue working

traces i used unroute in the design tab. If you hit the arrow there is a option for unroute all.
