how to change gbrjob file output directory ?

Hi,

I have a problem to create a CAM processor with a custom output directory.

I'm able to change every file output except the gbrjob file. I'have changed the output directory to %PROJECTNAME/%FOLDERCONTAINER/%N/ but the gbrjob file is always generated at the %TEAMHUBNAME/%PROJECTNAME/ location.

Where I can change the gbrjob output directory ?

Hi @Anonymous

thank you for your participation in our Fusion Electronics Forum.

I did not yet check the whole story, but I think the Gerber Jobfile should follow the Gerber output files. If it does not, I will talk to the dev team.

But I think the job is not critical for board manufacturing. I never sent the job file together with Gerber to the board manufacturer. You could even switch off " Export Gerber Job file" in the CAM Processor.

I will check and forward your report to our dev team.

Thanks and regards,

I know that this file isn't mandatory but this file is helpfull to track the fusion360 version used to generate each release of our products. I confirm that the output directory don't follow the generated files. For now, I desactivated it due to this isue.

@RichardHammerl This is still an unresolved issue.  Is there any info on when this might be resolved.  The easiest solution would be to provide a path for this file.  It appears the way the gerber layer outputs are done, it is possible to put different layers on different paths, therefore, making the job file "follow" the gerber files would be very difficult.

Today we just released a new version of Fusion (v 2.0.15022) which has implemented the suggestions you reported to us.
Could you please upgrade Fusion to latest version and have a try? Hope it works well for you.

Hope you have a great day.
